Together with our recording of the music of Ignatius Sancho, Rebecca Cypess and Sonya Headlam have commissioned a modern-day response: a new song cycle, titled Reflections, by composer Trevor Weston. Weston's cycle sets excerpts from Sancho's Letters (1782) -- passages that are poignant, witty, and insightful -- to music for soprano and square piano.
